The SEO Agency for AI Startups, Seed to Series B

You're a funded AI startup, and search engines can't yet tell what category you're in. As an SEO agency for AI startups, we fix the positioning, pages and authority that Google, Bing and AI engines use to decide who gets recommended. Viggle AI went from 4 pages cited in AI answers to 279.

Why AI products get skipped by search engines and AI answers

Most AI startups don't fail in search because of a technical bug. They fail because the site describes the product in words nobody searches, in a category that's months old, against results pages owned by roundups. Fixing that is a positioning and page problem first, and a ranking problem second.

Our homepage says AI-powered and little else

Every competitor says it too, so neither Google, Bing nor an AI engine can tell what you replace or who you're for. The site ranks for your brand name and almost nothing a buyer types.

We named a category nobody searches for yet

Your deck calls it a new category, but buyers still describe the old problem in plain words. Without pages for those words, you're missing at the exact moment they shop.

Roundups own every query we care about

Page one for best tools in your space is listicles from affiliates and rivals. AI answers quote the same lists, so missing from them means missing from the answer.

Six things an SEO agency for AI startups has to get right

AI products change fast, launch on young domains and sell into categories still taking shape. These six pieces of work come first because they decide whether search engines and AI answers understand you at all. Everything else builds on them.

01

Describe the product in words buyers type

We rewrite category and product copy around the problem buyers search for, then give each job your product does its own page.

02

Win back the listicle queries

We build comparison and alternatives pages on your site and pitch your product onto the third-party roundups that answers quote.

03

A marketing site, not only docs

If your docs outrank your product pages, we split intent. Docs answer how, product and use-case pages answer which tool to pick.

04

Authority for a domain that's months old

We earn links and mentions from publications, review sites and communities, led by someone who ran a 20-person link building team.

05

Readable on any JavaScript stack

We check rendering, indexation and access for GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot, so new pages are readable the week they ship.

06

Rankings and AI answers on one roadmap

Google and Bing rankings feed what AI engines cite, so one plan covers both and one baseline measures both.

Covered on every engine your buyers use

  • ChatGPT
  • Perplexity
  • Claude
  • Gemini
  • Google AI Overviews
  • Google AI Mode
  • Copilot

ChatGPT search and Copilot draw on Bing's index, so Bing rankings feed AI answers. We work on search and AI engines as one program.

Who's behind SearchAxe

Amit Malvi spent four and a half years at Invideo AI, rising from SEO Executive to Senior SEO Manager. He built and led a 20-person link building team and owned the company's GEO and AEO programs. Today he works hands-on with a small number of AI startups.

Questions buyers ask us

We launched four months ago on a new domain. Is it too early?

No, but plan for the curve a young domain allows. The first months go on technical foundations, a handful of buyer-intent pages and early mentions on sites AI engines read. HeyOz launched with a single homepage and held page-one positions ten months later. That pace is realistic for a focused program. Rankings in week two are not.

Why does AI recommend our competitors and not us?

Usually because they appear on more of the sources answer engines read, such as roundups, review sites, comparison pages and community threads. Engines also favour pages that state plainly what a product does and who it serves. We test your category prompts across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode and Copilot, list who gets cited for each, and close those gaps first.

Our docs rank better than our product pages. Is that a problem?

Often, yes. Docs attract people already using the product, not buyers comparing tools. We keep the docs crawlable and well linked, then build product, use-case and comparison pages for the questions buyers ask before they sign up. Internal links from your most visited docs pages pass some of their authority to the pages that convert.

How is SEO for AI companies different from SaaS SEO?

Most SaaS playbooks assume an established category with known keywords. AI products often sell into a category that's a few months old, where demand still sits under older problem terms and AI answers form opinions faster than rankings settle. We start from the prompts and searches buyers use today, then build toward the category name you want to own.

Do you only work with generative media startups?

No. What our clients share is stage and problem, not modality. Viggle AI is a video tool, HeyOz makes ad creation software, and Wisemonk is a B2B employer of record platform. If your buyers research by asking AI engines and searching Google and Bing, the work follows the same order. Name the category clearly, build pages that win intent, earn the sources that get quoted.

Why does Invideo AI experience matter for an AI startup?

Amit Malvi spent four and a half years at Invideo AI, rising from SEO Executive to Senior SEO Manager. He built and led a 20-person link building team and owned its programs for AI answer visibility. Those are the problems you have now, a young AI category, results pages full of roundups and buyers who ask AI engines first, worked on by someone who faced them from inside an AI company.

What do you need from our team to get going?

A product walkthrough, access to Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools and analytics, and one person who can approve copy quickly. If publishing needs an engineer because the site runs on a custom framework, we agree a release rhythm in the first month so fixes don't wait in a backlog.

Which results can you show from AI startups?

Viggle AI went from 4 pages cited in AI answers to 279, with 362% more keywords ranking in Google's top three. HeyOz went from zero AI citations to 91 and is cited by 6 of 7 major answer engines. Wisemonk's citations across AI answer engines rose 414%. Each figure is read against a baseline set before the work began.
