Entity SEO Agency That Fixes How AI Describes You

If AI engines call your product the wrong thing, confuse you with a similarly named company or never use your category name, the problem is how the web defines your company, which search engines call your entity. SearchAxe is the entity SEO agency for funded AI startups that gets your site, schema, profiles and third-party sources saying the same thing. HeyOz went from no AI citations to 91.

Why AI engines get your product wrong

An entity is a thing a search engine or language model can identify and describe: your company, your product, your founder, your category. AI engines assemble that description from every source they can read. If your homepage says AI-powered platform, LinkedIn says workflow tool and an old roundup says something else again, the engines blend them, and the blend is usually wrong.

Our homepage says AI-powered platform, nothing more

Vague positioning gives engines nothing to repeat, so they fill the gap from whichever third-party page is most specific. That page may be two pivots out of date.

We invented our category and nobody uses the name

A new category term has no history on the web, so engines map you to the nearest known category instead. Often that's a category where you look weaker than you are.

AI confuses us with a company sharing our name

Short, catchy startup names collide with other products, people and older companies. Without signals that tell you apart, answers blend your facts with theirs.

What our entity SEO agency fixes, in order

Entity work starts by agreeing the true description, then getting every source to repeat it. We move from the sources you control, to the profiles you can edit, to the third-party pages you can only influence, because that's also the order in which fixes land fastest.

01

A canonical description anyone can reuse

We write one-line, one-paragraph and full versions of what you are, who it's for and which category you belong to, and get your sign-off before anything changes.

02

A category name engines can place

We pair your own term with the established category buyers already search for, so engines map you correctly while your term builds a history of its own.

03

Structured data that ties it together

Organization, product and founder markup with sameAs links to every official profile, so search engines connect your site, your people and your listings.

04

Profiles that agree with your site

LinkedIn, Crunchbase, G2, Product Hunt, GitHub and app store listings rewritten to the same facts, names and category, with dead or duplicate profiles cleaned up.

05

Clear separation from look-alike names

Where another company shares your name, we add distinguishing facts such as founder, location and product type across your pages and profiles, so engines stop merging you.

06

Third-party descriptions corrected at the source

We find the roundups, directories and articles that describe you wrong and ask their editors to update them, with the correct facts supplied ready to paste.

Covered on every engine your buyers use

  • ChatGPT
  • Perplexity
  • Claude
  • Gemini
  • Google AI Overviews
  • Google AI Mode
  • Copilot

ChatGPT search and Copilot draw on Bing's index, so Bing rankings feed AI answers. We work on search and AI engines as one program.

Questions buyers ask us

What is entity SEO in plain terms?

It's making sure search engines and AI models know exactly what your company is and describe it the same way everywhere. That takes one clear description, a category they can place you in, structured data linking your official profiles, and third-party pages that agree. When those line up, answers stop guessing and start repeating you.

Do we need a Wikipedia page?

No, and we won't create one for a company that doesn't meet Wikipedia's notability rules, because it gets deleted and can look worse than having none. If you already have independent press coverage, we'll tell you whether a page is realistic. Most seed and Series A startups fix their entity through their site, profiles and reviews instead.

How long until AI engines describe us correctly?

Answers that come from live search can change once corrected pages are recrawled, so your own site and profiles move first. Third-party pages depend on their editors. Answers drawn from training data change only when engines ship newer models, which nobody outside those companies controls. We rerun the same prompts monthly and compare them with the baseline.

We invented a category name. Should we drop it?

Not necessarily. Keep it, but stop using it alone. Pair it with the category buyers already search for, so engines can place you today, and let your own term ride alongside. As it starts appearing in reviews, roundups and press, engines begin to use it. Without that pairing, they quietly swap it for something more familiar.

Our homepage says AI-powered platform. What should it say?

What you replace and for whom, in words buyers already use. For example, meeting notes software for sales teams rather than an AI-powered productivity platform. Lead with the established category, put what makes you different in the next sentence, and repeat that same line in your schema, LinkedIn and review profiles, so every engine reads one description.

Which AI engines does this affect?

All of them, because every engine builds its picture of you from the same public web. The work carries across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode and Copilot, and the same clean facts help Google and Bing understand you in organic search. We test each engine with identical prompts before and after.

What if an AI engine says something false about us?

We trace where the claim comes from, usually an outdated page of yours, an old directory listing or a roundup that copied it. We fix what you own, ask the third party to correct theirs, and publish a clear page stating the current facts. There's no form that makes an engine forget, so the sources have to change.

What does entity SEO cost?

Quoted after a free consultation. Scope depends on how many sources describe you wrong, how many profiles you have and whether a rename or new category is involved. We send a plan and a quote together, and work starts when you approve both. Entity work is often the first phase of a wider engagement.

Have you fixed this kind of problem before?

HeyOz launched with a single homepage, so engines had almost nothing to describe. Once the site, pages and schema were built out, HeyOz went from no AI citations to 91 and is now cited by 6 of 7 major AI answer engines, with page-one positions ten months after launch. Every figure is read against the baseline set at the start.
