Link building

SaaS Link Building Agency Run by a Link Team Lead

You need links and mentions on the sites search engines and AI answers actually trust, not a monthly count from a vendor. Our SaaS link building agency is led by Amit Malvi, who built and led a 20-person link building team at Invideo AI, and we never buy links or use private blog networks (PBNs). Viggle AI went from 4 pages cited in AI answers to 279.

Backlinks still matter, but where they come from matters more

Links still help pages rank in Google and Bing, and AI answers that search the web pick their sources from those results. Those engines also read the sites linking to you, from roundups and publications to comparison pages and communities. One link from a page your buyers and AI engines read beats dozens from sites nobody visits.

Competitors get mentioned where AI engines look

The roundups and articles cited in AI answers for your category name three competitors and not you. No amount of on-site work fixes a source you are missing from.

We paid for links that did nothing

A vendor delivered the agreed number of links on sites with no traffic and no topic match. Rankings didn't move, and now you worry about what those links signal.

Our link reports count domains, not buyers

Referring domains went up and nobody can say which link reached a buyer or an AI answer. A count without context says nothing about pipeline.

How our SaaS link building agency earns links

We build links the way an in-house team does when its own domain is at stake. Every target comes from what already ranks or gets cited in your category, every link has a reason to exist, and every one points at a page that matters.

01

Targets taken from your category's citations

We list the pages that rank on Google and Bing and the sources AI answers cite for your buyers' prompts, then go after the ones that leave you out.

02

Assets worth linking to

Original data from your product, benchmarks, templates or free tools that writers can reference, so outreach offers something instead of asking a favor.

03

Founder expertise in front of editors

Expert commentary and contributed pieces placed with publications your buyers read, built on what your team knows that others don't.

04

Launches and funding turned into coverage

Product launches, funding rounds and new features pitched as stories, so the coverage carries links and an accurate description of the product.

05

Links pointed at commercial pages

Anchor text and target URLs chosen on purpose, so authority reaches comparison, use-case and product pages, not only the homepage.

06

Every link logged with its source

A record of each placement, the page it points to and whether that source appears in AI answers, read against the fixed baseline.

Covered on every engine your buyers use

  • ChatGPT
  • Perplexity
  • Claude
  • Gemini
  • Google AI Overviews
  • Google AI Mode
  • Copilot

ChatGPT search and Copilot draw on Bing's index, so Bing rankings feed AI answers. We work on search and AI engines as one program.

Questions buyers ask us

Do backlinks still matter for AI visibility?

Yes, in two ways. Links help pages rank in Google and Bing, and AI answers that search the web pick sources from those results. ChatGPT search and Copilot draw on Bing's index. Separately, the sites linking to you are often the same roundups and articles AI answers cite, so a link there doubles as a mention in a source the engines already trust.

Do you buy links or use PBNs?

No. We don't buy links, rent them, use private blog networks or run link exchange schemes. They put your domain at risk, and the sites involved are rarely ones buyers or AI engines read. Every link we report was earned through outreach, an asset worth citing or your team's expertise, and you can see where each one came from.

How many links will we get each month?

We don't promise a count, because a count is how link vendors justify weak placements. Volume depends on your assets, your category and how much your team can contribute. What we commit to is the target list, the outreach and the reasoning behind each placement, and we report every link against the fixed baseline.

How long before links move rankings or citations?

Longer than most other work. Outreach takes time to land, engines take time to recrawl and reweigh, and a single link rarely moves anything alone. Expect links to show their effect over months, not weeks, and mostly in combination with strong pages to point at. That is why link work starts once the target pages are ready.

What does running a 20-person link team mean for our account?

Amit built and led that team at Invideo AI, so the process here comes from running link building at volume for an AI company's own domain, where bad links had real consequences. For you that means clear criteria for every target, pitches written for editors rather than templates, and the judgment to skip placements that look good in a report and do nothing.

What makes a source trusted by AI engines?

We go by evidence, not guesses. If a page ranks for your category's searches and shows up as a cited source when buyers ask AI engines about your category, it is trusted for that topic. Review sites, best-of roundups, industry publications and active community threads often qualify. We build the target list from those observed citations.

Will outreach use our founder's name?

Only with approval. Expert commentary and contributed articles land better coming from a founder or senior team member, and editors prefer a real person. We draft pitches and pieces for review, handle the back and forth, and never publish anything under someone's name without that person signing it off first.

Which pages should our links point to?

Mostly the pages that earn signups, such as comparison, use-case and product pages, not only the homepage. We choose the target URL and anchor for each placement before outreach starts, and only point links at pages strong enough to hold a ranking. If a target page is thin, we fix the page first, because a link can't rescue it.

What does link building with you cost?

It depends on how much outreach, asset creation and PR the plan needs. We don't publish prices or sell link packages. After a free consultation we send a plan describing how we will build the target list and earn placements, with a quote, and the work starts when you approve both.
