The Best SaaS SEO Agencies for Funded AI Startups

We scored the best SaaS SEO agencies the way a funded AI startup would, on named SaaS results, coverage of Google, Bing and AI engines, pipeline reporting, stage fit, hands-on execution and published pricing. SearchAxe is one of the eight and was judged by the same criteria. For Wisemonk, a B2B platform, pages cited in AI answers rose from 70 to 299.

The quick answer

TripleDart has the top score on this list, one point ahead of six agencies that tie, SearchAxe among them, alongside SimpleTiger, Grow and Convert, Omniscient Digital, Siege Media and Powered by Search. SearchAxe sits first only because it is our agency. TripleDart and SimpleTiger both name seed or Series A startups as a fit and report pipeline, while Grow and Convert, Omniscient Digital and Siege Media have deep SaaS case studies and published floors that many seed teams will find heavy. SearchAxe is the pick for an AI company that wants AI answers in the plan from the start and the founder leading the work.

How we ranked these agencies

  1. 01

    Named SaaS growth stories

Two or more published case studies that name a SaaS or AI company and an organic result. Cases that are mostly paid media or broader marketing score partial.

  2. 02

    Rankings and AI citations together

Search work and AI answer work sold as one program, not as two retainers with two roadmaps.

  3. 03

    Pipeline over sessions

Says it reports signups, SQLs, opportunities, pipeline or revenue. Reports built on traffic, visibility or share of voice alone score partial.

  4. 04

Fits a seed to Series B team

Names seed, Series A or Series B companies as a fit. No stated stage, or a focus on established and mid-market brands, scores partial.

  5. 05

Does the work, not only the plan

Its own people write, fix and build links. Advisory work, or technical changes left to your developers, scores partial.

  6. 06

    Prices published

Yes means published prices. Partial means a published pricing rule or a stated quote process. No means neither is published.

SearchAxe is on this list and was scored on the same six criteria as the other seven agencies. Every fact comes from public pages on each agency's own site, checked on October 6, 2026. A yes earns two points and a partial one. We considered twelve agencies, SearchAxe included, and list the eight with the highest totals. SearchAxe sits first because it is our agency, not because of its score. TripleDart scores one point more, and five agencies tie with SearchAxe, as their verdicts say. Ties are ordered by case studies, then stage fit, then pipeline reporting, then name.

Limitations

  • Execution relies heavily on AI agents
  • Its organic page says monthly billing with no lock-in, while its startup page starts with a six-month agreement

4

Grow and Convert

Limitations

  • Full-service engagements start at $10,000 a month
  • By its own terms, not a fit without product-market fit and positioning clarity

Verdict Ties with SearchAxe on total. A top choice once positioning is settled and the budget is there; earlier teams will hit its fit rules.

6

Siege Media

siegemedia.com
Best for
Well-funded SaaS brands that want content and digital PR at large scale
Stage fit
Not stated; showcased clients are mostly large brands
Pricing
From $8,000 per month (content marketing minimum)

  • Named SaaS and AI case studies, including Hebbia and Mentimeter
  • In-house content, design and digital PR teams
  • Publishes its content marketing minimum

Limitations

  • Asks for a 12-month contract, with a 30-day out clause
  • Showcased clients skew to large, established brands

Verdict Ties with SearchAxe on total. Big-brand content firepower; the contract length and client mix suit later-stage teams better than a seed startup.

7

Powered by Search

poweredbysearch.com
Best for
B2B SaaS after product-market fit that wants SEO, paid and ABM aimed at sales-ready opportunities
Stage fit
Bootstrapped, seed and Series A, after product-market fit

  • Reports trials, activations, closed deals and pipeline influence
  • A dedicated AI and search visibility service alongside SEO

Limitations

  • Most named case studies cover paid, ABM or wider demand generation, and none is an AI company
  • Its startups page says no long-term contracts, while its SEO page asks for a one-year marketing commitment

Verdict Ties with SearchAxe on total. Strong for pipeline-minded SaaS after product-market fit; ask for results from organic work alone.

8

Embarque

embarque.io
Best for
SaaS and AI tool startups that want set monthly deliverables at a published price
Stage fit
Just launched to enterprise
Pricing
From $1,500 per month
Notable clients

What they do well

  • Named SaaS and AI tool case studies, including Instatus, SignHouse, Cleanvoice and Elephas
  • Prices published for every tier, from one service to enterprise
  • Sells content, links and on-page fixes as set monthly deliverables

Limitations

  • Reports cover deliverables and analytics; no pipeline or demo reporting is described
  • The entry tier covers one service, and commitment terms differ across the page

Verdict The clearest way to buy defined SaaS output each month at a published price; you'll need to track pipeline yourself.

How to choose

Questions worth asking on the first call with any agency.

  • Show us a SaaS case study where you can name the client and the change in signups or pipeline.
  • What does your cheapest plan include, and what is the minimum term?
  • How will you connect organic pages to trials or demos in our CRM?
  • Are AI answers part of the same plan as Google and Bing, or an add-on?
  • Who on your team will touch our site in a normal week?
  • If we stop after a quarter, what do we keep?

Red flags when hiring

Traffic charts where pipeline should be

Sessions can climb while signups stay flat. Ask for one client report that shows trials, demos or opportunities.

A year-long contract before any baseline

Without a fixed starting point there is nothing to judge at renewal. Agree the baseline before you agree the term.

Prices that change from page to page

If an agency's site gives different figures or terms in different places, get the final scope and term in writing before you sign.

Case studies from another business model

Ecommerce and local wins rarely transfer to a SaaS funnel. Ask for work with a sales motion like yours.

AI answers sold as a separate retainer

Rankings feed what AI engines cite. Two retainers usually means two roadmaps competing for the same engineering time.

Guaranteed rankings or AI placements

No agency controls where you rank or what an AI engine says. A guarantee of either is a sales line, not a plan.

How we get started

From first call to work in progress in three steps.

  1. 01

    Book a free consultation

A call about your product, your market and where you stand in AI answers and search today.

  2. 02

Get a plan and a quote

We send a plan for what we would do first, with a clear quote for the work.

  3. 03

    Work starts right away

Once the plan and quote are approved, the work starts immediately.

What clients say

We had thousands of pages going nowhere. Amit cleaned that up and rebuilt our landing pages. Our top three rankings are up 362% and our citations across AI engines have grown more than a hundred times.

Nan Ha Nan Ha Product Growth Lead, Viggle AI Read the Viggle AI case study

We came to Amit with a good product and almost no search presence. He gave our team a plan we could actually follow. Referring domains are up 183% and our first page rankings have more than tripled.

George Kurdin George Kurdin Co-Founder, Monk Read the Monk case study

Our content was getting published but not landing anywhere. Amit reworked how we format it for AI engines and our citations across all seven engines are up over 400%. The Reddit community he built now brings us leads weekly.

Aditya Nagpal Aditya Nagpal Founder, Wisemonk Read the Wisemonk case study

We launched with a homepage and nothing else. Amit built the search foundation, the landing pages, the blog, the schema. Our domain rating is up 70% and we went from zero AI citations to being quoted by six of the seven AI engines.

Ahad Shams Ahad Shams Founder, HeyOz Read the HeyOz case study

We had multiple pages fighting each other for the same terms. Amit mapped it all out, consolidated what needed consolidating, and rebuilt our service pages. Organic traffic is up 147% and our top three rankings have more than doubled.

Manjunath Thandu Manjunath Thandu CEO, Zivoke Read the Zivoke case study

Agency, in-house or tools

Agency

One team covering strategy, content, technical and authority work. Fastest to start, and you pay for output rather than headcount.

In-house hire

Full control and deep product context, but slow to hire, and one person rarely covers every engine and every discipline.

AI visibility tool

Useful for tracking where you appear. A tool shows the gap, but someone still has to close it.

Frequently asked questions

What makes an agency good at SEO for SaaS specifically?

It understands that a SaaS site sells through trials and demos, so it starts with bottom-funnel pages such as comparisons, alternatives, integrations and use cases before top-of-funnel blogging. It reports signups and pipeline, not sessions. It can work with a product team on rendering, docs and app subdomains. And it now treats AI answers as part of the same buying research, since buyers ask AI engines for shortlists too.

Are the agencies with big SaaS case studies worth it for an early AI startup?

Sometimes, if their minimums and fit rules match where you are. Grow and Convert, Omniscient Digital and Siege Media have deep case study libraries, but their published starting prices, contract length or product-market fit rules suit teams further along. SimpleTiger, TripleDart and Powered by Search name seed or Series A startups as a fit. Compare each card's stage line with your own before booking calls.

Why do so many agencies score within a point of each other?

Because the criteria are pass marks, not a beauty contest. TripleDart scores yes on all six. SimpleTiger, Grow and Convert, Omniscient Digital, Siege Media, Powered by Search and SearchAxe each score eleven of twelve and differ on stage fit, case studies and pricing. We list SearchAxe first because it is our agency, and each tied card says so, so you can choose on the trade-offs.

Which agencies did not make the eight, and why?

Four. Kalungi tied Embarque on ten points and lost eighth place on the case study tie-break, since its SaaS case studies mostly cover broader marketing. Its done-for-you service is also priced for larger companies, and seed clients get self-serve playbooks. Skale and Omnius scored nine, Skale because it states no stage and publishes no prices, Omnius because it describes no pipeline reporting. Animalz is content-led, says technical changes may fall to your developers and publishes no pricing.

Should a SaaS agency report pipeline or traffic?

Pipeline, with traffic as a leading signal. Traffic tells you pages are being found; signups, demos and opportunities tell you the right people are finding them. Seven of the eight agencies here say they report pipeline or revenue in some form. Ask to see a real client report, because a promise on a sales page and a dashboard you can open are different things.

Which of these agencies have AI company clients?

TripleDart names AI companies such as Glean, Callbotics.ai and Arya.ai. Omniscient Digital names Jasper and Gable AI, Grow and Convert names Level AI, Siege Media names Hebbia, and Embarque names AI tools such as Cleanvoice and Elephas. SimpleTiger's one AI company case study is paid search rather than SEO. If your product is AI-first, ask each agency for a named AI client and what changed, measured from a stated baseline.

What do SaaS agencies on this list charge?

Where prices are public they appear on each card, and they range widely, from a share of revenue or funding to published monthly floors aimed at much larger teams. SearchAxe is the only agency here that publishes neither a price nor a pricing rule, and SimpleTiger publishes a percentage rule instead. SearchAxe sends a plan and a quote after a free consultation, and work starts once you approve both, so you know the cost before anything begins.
